Regenerative energy
Innovative technologies in the field of energy supply open up new markets for large-size lithium ion batteries. Storage devices in photovoltaic and wind power plants and pitch systems of wind turbines are just two examples of applications where GAIA lithium ion batteries are commonly used.
Wind power
Together with our partners, W2E and Harting, we have developed a high-power battery with 86V and 7.5Ah that is today found in many pitch systems. As the performance of GAIA lithium ion batteries is not affected by their actual position, their advantages come particularly to the fore in rotative applications.
The integrated battery management system monitors all relevant battery data and coordinates the cells. The relevant data can then be retrieved via remote access. As these batteries are extremely reliable, require virtually no maintenance, have a long cycle life and excellent energy storage capabilities, they are not just an alternative to conventional systems but offer advanced technology and economical advantages.
Solar power
Compared with other battery systems, lithium ion cells are again one step ahead - be it for small portable or large stationary energy storage solutions. High storage capability, optimised monitoring through the battery management system, low service costs and prolonged service life are just a few of the advantages available with lithium ion batteries.
LED street lighting
Solar LED lighting is a completely independent, efficient way of lighting the way in the city. Twilight switches and integrated lamp and battery management ensure reliable lighting with plentiful reserves for bad weather. Motion detection lights up the way when you need it. Other benefits come from maintenance-free GAIA iron phosphate battery technology with a life expectancy of eight years.
